I am a diligent and positive person, actively seeking summer employment. I am studying Philosophy and History at the University of Exeter. I recently trained as a TEFL Teacher completing a 120 hour course.
I work with young children (4-6 years), for these sessions. I plan activities, deliver them, following and adapting the Rainbows Badge Scheme to suit individual Rainbows. I have a DBS for this role.
I am currently the Arts and Crafts Coordinator for the Universities Art Society. Each week I organise and plan workshops, design themed activities, and guide students in their creations and designs.
In this role I worked for a summer season in a busy school uniform shop, often serving multiple customers back-to-back. I handled cash and card payments with accuracy. I stocked shelves regularly for easy access to products by customers. I provided advice on sizing, took customers through clothing options for uniforms, and served them enthusiastically
In this role I served customers in a fast-paced environment, using a computerised till system and ensuring orders were accurately put through. I also refused drinks service to guests without appropriate proof of age.
In this role I gained experience at a touch typing and literacy group; this involved tutoring students at primary and early secondary school age with lower literacy ability. This included adapting tasks to their needs. I worked in a team of other assistants
