I am a dedicated, diligent and competent individual, who is keen to learn and experience new opportunities, either through working as part of a team or independently. Throughout my previous work, I have consistently shown that I am highly committed to creating positive outcomes, and have great attention to detail and feelings of others, while consistently maintaining a positive work ethic.
During my school years, I completed the Duke of Edinburgh award, in which I took part in four different aspects: volunteering, sport, skills, and the final expedition. I chose to volunteer at a local horse riding stable, following on from my love of animals, whereby I learnt to take responsibility for the care of horses on a weekly basis. Alongside this, I learnt to cook a variety of different meals as my chosen skill, which I learnt then completed independently based off of previous feedback given. I also chose to complete at least one hour of walking each week, for 3 continuous months, in order to prepare myself for the final expedition which consisted of walking 20 miles across two days, setting up camp for the night, preparing meals, and supporting my team. This entire experience greatly improved my communication skills, taught me how effective it is to work in a team, and also showed me the importance of motivation.
