- Assisted in restaurant operations by clearing tables, delivering food, and preparing drinks. I could also be cooking and plating up food. Made drinks and serving customers on the till. Gained diverse experience over one year across various roles in catering. Maintained cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen to enhance customer experience. I am able to listen and act on ideas provided by my managers and other colleagues. Additionally if I think of an idea/ solution I tell others.

- I achieved the certificate for completing an online course where I learnt about how to work in retail and how to progress up the company into more leadership roles. I learnt about every different role within retail. Managing complaints whilst remaining calm was a key skill I learnt.

- I did one week of work experience at Lowther Road Co-op. I was doing things like restocking shelves and relabelling products. I was making sure the store isles were tidy and fully stocked so all the customers could have access to everything they needed. I was showing good teamwork as I worked with a small team of colleagues. I had to be able to listen in order to learn how to do certain things.

I AM VERY INTERESTED IN FOOTBALL SO I SPEND A LOT OF MY FREE TIME WATCHING GAMES. This will be helpful for me as it means I have already got knowledge meaning I find it easier to be a sports journalist.
