Summary

My background is in education, and I've really enjoyed my years of coaching work. However, I'm keen to expand my work prospects and would relish the chance to pursue opportunities in the marketing and public relations sectors. My recent work with Jet Set Saddlery and Countrywear has allowed me valuable insight, to gain some experience, and essentially develop a basic understanding of retail marketing. I would love to build on what I have learned thus far. I am keen to partake in further study and would love any opportunity to continue my professional development and expand on my own skills and knowledge.

I am currently seeking positions with marketing and digital agencies.

  • Worked in partnership with a veterinary physiotherapist to plan, and treat injured animals to promote smooth and steady recovery.
  • Took charge of carrying out hydrotherapy treatment plans using a heated pool and underwater treadmill. Adapted each therapy session to suit the needs of the animal.
  • Cleaned and sterilised equipment, instruments and materials used to treat animals to minimise the risk of infection.
  • Kept up-to-date notes of each animal treated using Canva software. Therefore, all professionals in the practice had access to up-to-date notes of where an animal was at in their recovery programme.
  • Participated in daily meetings with the practice veterinary physiotherapist to ensure I was up to date with the plan for each day and treatment plans.
  • Monitored animal wellbeing throughout therapy sessions, looking out for symptoms of stress, further injury or illness.
  • Controlled safe movements of animals to prevent injury and keep order within the practice.
  • Advised and worked with owners during therapy sessions to get the best results.
