Annabelle Rowell-Potton

In this position I provide friendly and efficient customer service in what can be a fast paced hospitality environment. I take food and drink orders, serve meals, handle payments whether this be cash handling or card machine, and ensure customers have a positive dining experience. I further assist with setting and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas, and support team members during busy periods. I am also responsible for washing pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen equipment. I work effectively under pressure, maintain a strong work ethic, and help ensure smooth runnings of the cafe during the day. I assist with both closing and opening duties, including the cleaning tasks and the preparation for the day ahead. I have and continue to handle customer complaints with professionalism and empathy in attempt to offer solutions and maintain an all round positive experience.

• I completed a work experience placement in a primary school environment, supporting teachers and assisting pupils with classroom activities. I helped prepare learning materials, supervised children during lessons and break times, and encouraged positive behaviour and participation. This enabled to me to develop communication, teamwork, organisation, and responsibility skills while working with both staff and students in a professional setting. I gained experience working in a busy educational environment and adapted well to different tasks throughout the placement
