Engineering Geology and Geotechnics graduate with First Class Honours progressing to an MSc in Mining Engineering at the Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter from September 2026. Strong academic background in geotechnics, tunnelling, rock mechanics and structural geology, complemented by geological field mapping, underground mine mapping and geotechnical analysis experience. Proficient in Rocscience software, ArcGIS Pro,stereonet analysis and rock mass characterisation. Seeking opportunities to apply and develop skills within mining geotechnics, rock engineering and underground excavation design through industry-linked projects and graduate roles.

Eastern Elba Geological Mapping Project, Italy 

• Conducted independent geological and structural mapping across a 10 km² field area
• Collected and interpreted discontinuity, lithological and structural data
• Produced geological maps, cross-sections and stereonet analyses using ArcGIS Pro and Stereonet software.
• Integrated field observations with published geological literature to develop an interpretation of the area's geological evolution
• Supported findings through the preparation of a comprehensive 60-page dissertation incorporating field observations, structural analysis and geological interpretation

Underground Mapping Project – Geevor Mine, Cornwall

• Undertook underground geological and structural mapping within historic mine workings
• Collected discontinuity and structural data for geotechnical interpretation
• Developed practical experience of underground excavation environments and mapping techniques

• Designed a quarry blast considering fragmentation, vibration control and slope stability
• Applied excavation design and drill-and-blast principles to develop blast geometry and design parameters
• Utilised Expertir blasting software to determine initiation timing sequences and explosive loading configurations
• Assessed operational and geotechnical constraints associated with surface mining

Masters Representative – Women in Mining Society (2026–2027)

• Elected to represent postgraduate students within the society
• Act as a link between students, society committee members and industry professionals
• Volunteered at the UK mining conference, supporting event organisation and engagement with delegates from across the mining sector
• Support networking, mentoring and professional development initiatives
