Promote and encourage the individuality, independence,
self-respect, and dignity of patrons. Allocate and
Coordinate team duties, ensure all care given is based
upon the individual care assessment for each patron
and make sure that the care plan is administered to
the highest standard. Maintain accurate and informative
daily records for all residents. Administer medication
as directed by Deputy Manager and carry out monthly
medication audit. Maintain accurate and up-to-date care
plans, reviewing them regularly about the emotional,
physical, social, and spiritual needs of the patrons.
Liaise with visiting agencies such as GP, District nurse,
CPN, Dentist, Optician and Physiotherapist. When
working nights, checking patrons regularly throughout
the night, ensuring their wellbeing and safety. Ensure
full compliance with all Health and Safety regulations
and inform promptly to the Manager about any serious
illness, accident or defects within the premises and
complete appropriate records.
