Accomplishments

  • Fundraising, In 2015 I helped organise a school fundraising event for children in need, which gave me invaluable experience in working as part of a team. Through combined efforts we managed to raise a substantial amount of money for the charity.
  • Community Project, In 2017 I took part in a community challenge as part of my Welsh baccalaureate. It required me to communicate with people of different ages, mainly the elderly. As a group we organised and carried out a Christmas tea party for the elderly and lonely, giving me invaluable experience of how to lead and organise an event. We arranged many activities to take place to engage everyone there according to their abilities. Enabled them to form bonds and build new relationships with different people. It was a valuable experience, as it allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and develop many skills such as teamwork and communication.
