As a brand ambassador for the Montana Organisation, my primary role was to represent and promote businesses positively, working alongside with businesses such as hello fresh or the modern milkman. My duty was to engage with the public and potential customers to drive sales and increase brand awareness. This involved attending vital meetings and practicing my communication skills via door-to-door business promotion. My enthusiasm and passion enabled me to connect with people with successful businesses and building strong connections, as well as challenging me to overcome public speaking.
Working in a hospital environment, my primary responsibility was to maintain a clean and sanitary environment to prevent any spreads of infection. My main duties were to disinfect surfaces, cleaning clinical rooms and common areas as well as medical equipment that was used consistently. In addition, working in healthcare meant you were dealing with hazardous materials, therefore attention to detail is key to ensure all regulations and standards were met. The overall experienced trained me to be more alert and adhere to hygiene protocols as my contribution directly impacted a patient’s wellbeing and the overall of care in the hospital.
As a well experienced sales assistant at Card Factory, I underwent a variety of tasks that required in delivering exceptional customer service skills as well carrying out tasks that consisted of speed and precision. My overall responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, processing transactions accurately, maintaining an organised work environment and restocking product onto the shop floors. Furthermore, it enabled me to opportunities to showcase my creative skills from merchandising displays to proposing suggestions that participate in ensuring that the store is visually appealing. This job role enabled me to practice my communication skills, creativity and a passion for retail.
