A dedicated professional with a strong skillset in quality standards, teamwork, and hands-on project involvement. Experienced in working within small teams, adapting to new additions, and sharing ideas collaboratively. Committed to maintaining high standards and taking pride in delivering exceptional work.
In This role i am responsible for maintaining and managing of the workshop, whether this is fixing machinery to organising workloads & solving issues as well as the general repair and creation of jewellery which is my main job.
Since returning to this place of work i have stepped up and become a reliable and valuable asset of a small team that can be counted on for quality control and experience whether that be with social skills or my knowledge in the trade.
At this workshop i worked in a very small team trying my craft at something new, a very fine highly detailed style of repairs and creation.
Here i learned and improved the values of quality and time management in a completely different work environment, fine setting of multiple different gemstones through magnification with a very high priority on Quality.
Moving to this workshop had me working in a more traditional style learning from others around me with a wealth of experience, which i am always willing to do. I worked as a Workshop jeweller increasing my skillset of which i had learned prior thanks to the knowledge around me.
Collaborated with team members to enhance bench jewellery skills and quality standards.
At Ernest Jones i developed as a person as well as my skillset on the Bench. Regularly participated in conference calls for meeting targets and business goals; as well as the ordering and maintaining of the workshop.
My skillset most definitely increased onto working with nearly every precious metal and gemstone, as well as techniques of setting and metal forming and quality in my work.
This was my first main Job role, as an apprentice Jeweller i began learning all techniques of the trade and the general workings of the workshop.
this Job kickstarted my career and my interest in hands-on work and a workshop mentality, where everyone worked hard but not at the cost of quality.
I would say my strongest skillset is as follows
Always worked in a small Team and have adapted to work and strive with any new additions
Being hands on and always willing to be involved with any projects or repairs needed done
Quality, in my professions high standards are of the upmost importance and it is what really gives me pride in my job
learning and working with others, i love working in a small team where ideas are shared and taken on board
