Whilst at university studying Primary Education I gained valuable experience within a range of educational settings. In the next few weeks I will of achieved my degree as a children's nurse. I am passionate about helping children achieve their potential and am excited to bring both my previous educational experience and newly developed skills back into the classroom. I have an awareness and understanding of the importance of safeguarding and how children's health and well being can have an effect on their learning, development and education. I listen actively and can explain concepts clearly. I understand that children learn at different paces and need patience and encouragement. I am able to create a welcoming environment where the children feel safe and comfortable in asking for help, I am organised and can manage my time and resources effectively. I am reliable, punctual able to work within a team and am aware of the importance of confidentiality. I am enthusiastic, creative and have the ability to motivate and engage the children in their learning.
