Accomplishments

An accomplishment I am particularly proud of is developing and implementing a strategic incentive scheme to improve engagement and attainment within Year 11. I was tasked with raising overall attendance and participation by linking progress to an end-of-year celebration reward.

To support this, I created individual trackers for each student, using live data to monitor key areas including attendance, punctuality, behaviour, engagement with extra study sessions, and achievement points. Each learner had personalised targets, allowing for clear identification of strengths and areas for improvement, as well as targeted pastoral intervention.

Through consistent monitoring and a structured approach to tracking and support, I successfully contributed to improving Year 11 attendance to 6% above the Welsh national average. This approach demonstrated my ability to use data effectively to drive engagement, motivate learners, and improve whole-cohort outcomes.
