- I completed a 4 day work experience programme at the law firm Trowers and Hamlins. I looked into the various different sectors of law and networked with over 40 lawyers/trainees at the firm. I completed engaging activities utilising real legal situations.

- I learnt about the different responsibilities and pathways a lawyer could take, including the day to day life of a lawyer. I completed multiple activities related to law and quizzes about the contents. I also analysed a legal document to discover its purpose.

- Whilst volunteering at my local library, I was required to be able to work independently and take initiative when helping customers Though there were other workers who were present, I mostly had to work through any issues independently
Working under pressure
- In the mock trials club that I set up, I need to think of new court cases for us to use regularly This is done on top of school work, revision, and any other work I have to do Because of these factors, there’s an immense amount of pressure to meet deadlines However, I manage to overcome this pressure and complete everything to the best of my ability

- A friend and I set up a mock trials club in which we both contribute to the workload In order to do this, we must effectively communicate to ensure there are no misunderstandings and cases run smoothly in every session
