  • I worked on site as a volunteer with AOC Archaeology Group, where they were involved in a co-curated community archaeology project called "Uncovering the Tweed" that included our excavation of a potential Iron Age 'scooped' settlement at Adie's Brae near Moffat.
  • I excavated, located new contexts, recorded finds, and made a section drawing of a trench that included a potential part of the settlement's wall.

  • Along with a team of kitchen staff volunteers, I planned meals, managed, and accommodated camper's needs at Camp 'Wildside' at Camp Lyle McCleod over the span of a week. I worked fulfilling days cooking and cleaning in the lodge's commercial kitchen and cleaned and prepped work surfaces and dish areas.

  • Worked in a team to excavate a heritage site nearby the town Riba-roja d'Ebre in Spain.
  • Excavated on site and also gave heritage presentations in town.
  • Cleaned and prepared the site for visitors, site photography and drone footage, as well as conserving the traditional 'juniper oven' of the site.
  • Handled IT involved in recording archaeological sites and organised recording sheets.
  • Advanced my independent ability to use a Total Station and measure/record points.
