My schooling was affected by childhood health issues but I believe this has given me a strong streak of resilience and ability to handle adversity, as well as an empathic understanding of the challenges others face. My great passion is music, in particular singing, and my overriding ambition is to have a career in musical theatre. I have a strong voice and good range so this is a realistic aspiration; but as this is a highly competitive area requiring years of patient dedication I am happy to work in unrelated fields to earn a living in parallel with pursuing my long term goals.
My people skills are good and I am a team player so any kind of service industry would be of interest to me. In my creative work I am fastidious with a keen eye for detail and precision, which is a transferable skill.
I have experience in working on Flashmob make-up for Oxford Castle, featured on local tv news, two years of Pegasus Youth Theatre (wrote and performed an original stage show)
Drama/dance/singing with Stagecoach Performing Arts Oxford as a child, and have been receiving vocal coaching for the past 18 months and have recently increased my coaching hours. I am currently recording an indie rock album of new material by a guitarist/songwriter who runs a local professional recording studio.
