- Overseeing Cross-Government and external stakeholder engagement and policy development of the next UK 'National Action Plan' for antimicrobial resistance (AMR) to be published in 2024.
- Leading a 4 Nation approach to developing the next UK National Action Plan, including co-chairing weekly UK wide project meetings.
- Leading on identification, prioritisation, and delivery of a One-Health, Cross-Government 'AMR research programme' including identifying funding routes through internal and external stakeholders.
- Leading on sepsis and stewardship policy, including write up of Prevention of Future Deaths reports, developing problem statements, and overseeing updates to national guidance.
- Support and monitoring of funding and liaison with delivery partners for research capital on AMR.
- Line management to one HEO team member, ensuring their delivery of secretariat for the cross-government, UK wide AMR Delivery Board and governance by an independent expert committee.
