Summary

Having completed 5 years of employment as a signalman, with a good disciplinary record I left to pursue a career in sports broadcasting and journalism.

During the first lockdown I made enquiries about becoming an emergency signalman, but after a time work returned and the opportunity was not taken.

However, since covid there are less opportunities in my current industry and I seek stable employment in an industry I have previously worked for and feel sure I could do again. After 30 years away, I have no doubt there are many changes, but the skills required now will not be too different than to that which I have done in the past.
