I am a dedicated and hard working individual, who enjoys travel and events management. As a competitive horse rider I have honed my discipline, organisation and communication abilities from a young age, which I now use to provide a high quality experience. As Cabin Crew I need to be excellent at meeting passengers demands and help guarantee their comfort and safety. I thrive in an environment where cooperation, problem solving is required.
I started working for Jet2.com going into my second year at university as a way to pay my way through the remaining two years. Whist being extremely hard work I managed to balance my university studies with my part time work and feel I was successful at both.. This role has provided me with the opportunity to travel and provide me with confidence and customer service skills, as well as learning the sales skills for the retail offering on board.
My role here was to teach the young people aged between 6 and 15 years old in my charge, horse care and riding skills from beginners to more advanced riders with more abilities. Days were long starting with getting the children up and ready to face the day, teaching throughout the day until late afternoon followed by organising games for the evening. I prepared lesson plans and carried out administration before retiring for the night which was sometimes early morning.
Whilst in America, I was able to gain confidence and independence at the same time inspiring young people.
Bronze level in public speaking, with London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, where I received a mark of 96%. My tutor was very proud of this mark as was I, it was the highest mark that any of her students had received.
I was the student representative for my course at university, in all three years, I was chosen for this role by my head of department which I took as a great complement.
