Intelligent, hardworking, and dedicated individual who is always looking to progress and improve himself I have a qualification in business level 3 and am always willing to learn and improve. I have my SIA door supervisor badge and am looking to put my skills, including attention to detail and problem-solving skills, to use. I also want to do my part for the public by keeping them safe from any dangers and threats in our society. I have worked in many customer service roles in the past and have gained a lot of experience interacting with customers, dealing with difficult situations, and knowing how to act in these situations. I am looking for a role in security, and as shown, I am a very hard-working individual who is always willing to learn. Also, through my past jobs and education, my verbal and nonverbal skills enable me to represent my ideas clearly and effectively. I am extremely excited to work in a workforce where I can put my skills into action and work to the best of my ability in order to keep customers satisfied and pleased.
Worked at Aston Villa Football Club, doing security for the VIP guests as well as doing security for Nottingham Forest as a door supervisor.
Watched people walk through the metal detectors and make sure no objects are brought into the venue, and if anything comes up on our system, guests were searched in the area flagged for suspicious objects. Also directed the guests were to go as well as great and welcome them and make them feel welcomed. As well as making sure nobody unothorized enters the building or comes through the wrong entry and exit points. At the end of the event guests were escorted people out of the stadium and made sure nothing goes wrong or kicks off. At Nottingham Forest all bags were searched and did full body searches before they enter the stadium, as well as making sure nobody unidentified enters the stadium. Also making sure nothing happens that will put the guests at risk, for example, fights, rasism/negative behaviour, terorists, and unothorized objects entering the venue. Also made sure nothing kicks off on the stadium stands, like arguing or fighting, and I also make sure none of the guests try to get onto the pitch. Also, escorted all the guests out of the venue at the end of the game, making sure nothing goes wrong, and once the guests are out, I make sure nobody reenters and the entrances and exits are closed and secure.
worked as a security guard at the riverside funfair for 3 days. Was making sure nothing went wrong during the funfair and everyone was safe during the event, used a security radio to talk to other members of staff, and made sure the event was kept under control throughout. As well as making sure nobody could sneak into the event and keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity.
