I have over four years of experience playing basketball, both recreationally and competitively as part of a team, where I developed strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. I've also trained in kickboxing, which taught me discipline, focus, and perseverance. Outside of sports, I've volunteered to support youth activities, showing my commitment to helping others and giving back to the community. These experiences have shaped me into a confident, motivated individual who enjoys both physical challenges and working with people.
I'm a natural leader both on and off the court As a basketball player, I take pride in motivating my team, staying focused under pressure, and helping everyone stay organised during games and practice I've often stepped up as a captain or informal leader, making sure we communicate well, keep a strong team spirit, and push through challenges together
In the classroom, I study A Level Maths, Biology, and Psychology – subjects that require logic, discipline, and focus Maths helps me with strategic thinking and problem-solving, which I also apply in sports Biology deepens my understanding of the body and performance, while Psychology gives me insight into mindset, motivation, and teamwork Balancing these demanding subjects with basketball has taught me time management, resilience, and how to stay committed to my goals
Multiple certificates from Library as three summers I have been volunteering through out and also leading the chess club.
I also help out in school and help the younger years improve their basketball skills.
