Completed 8 days for work experience on a beef and

sheep farm during the lambing season.

Over three years' experience working on and with a

variety of machinery at college, this includes: slurry

tanking, topping, tipping trailers with different

substances such as muck and sand, as well as

scraping out cow sheds, topping and cultivations.

4 weeks work lambing 1000 ewes.

2 weeks of setting up event marquees (cut short due

to covid).

Experience in welding and fabrication as well as using

handheld power tools.

2 weeks working at hunt forest group John Deere working on foragers, telehandlers, trailers and other machinery. Servicing, as well as pre delivery inspections.

I have spent the last year here driving tipper lorries (6 and 8 wheel configurations) hauling stone/ tarmac out of quarries as well as a flatbed lorry and drag hauling many different loads such as compost, straw, hay, concrete pillars, etc.

there is also an agricultural contracting side of the business so I have experience in some groundwork and driving a tractor carting silage as well as a little experience driving claas foragers.

I also have had to complete/helped with routine maintenance on all above machines

2 harvest seasons driving a telehandler stacking bales as well as loading out straw and bales, did a little bit on a baler as well as a little go driving a combine. many routine jobs throughout winter evolving machine maintenance, electric stock fencing, sheep work and cattle work (including calving and lambing), also some general grass work.

600-700 cows. A little work with calves aswell

grain cart driver as well as well as bale stacking and other yard jobs
