Alfie Griggs

I am reliable and enthusiastic 18-year-old college student looking for a part-time role. I currently work as a kitchen porter in a busy pub, where I have developed strong teamwork skills, the ability to work quickly under pressure, and a good understanding of keeping work areas clean, organised and safe.
I am hardworking, punctual and willing to learn. My current job has helped me build confidence, follow instructions carefully and support other team members during busy shifts. I would be well suited to a shelf-filling role as I am practical, physically capable, organised and happy to work flexible hours around my college commitments.

I recently passed my driving test and own my own car so can commute to and from work independently.

• I am interested in the UFC and I also train this Thursday and Friday nights
• I like to watch F1 and keep up with the sport

I am currently studying Business  at Btec Level 3 (extended).  My plan is to apply to Lincoln Bishop University to study a BA Honours degree in Military History. The start date is September 2027.  I am currently on track with predicted grades 3 x Distinctions. (3 A's at A Level).  I am looking to work throughout the summer and continue to work up until I leave for university.  My current employer cannot unfortunately give me more than 12 hours per week, although I will be sad to leave and do enjoy my position.
