My role as Holiday Club Manager primarily entails creating a varied, stimulating and inspiring programme of sports, activities and social events. My main focus is to lead and manage a team of Activities Leaders, confidently, and professionally, by carrying out session observations and providing support and feedback, to build and maintain a team of professional, competent, happy, and fully effective Activities Leaders. In addition to this, my role is inclusive of overseeing the operations, marketing and financial aspects of the Holiday Club. More specifically, managing the booking platform, communicating with parents and coordinating the necessary admin such as managing student bookings, staff rotas and activity schedules.
My role at Skippers Hill was to plan and deliver effective and engaging PE lessons to pupils aged 4-13. At Skippers we delivered a broad and balanced PE curriculum that focused on pupil participation and developing a healthy active lifestyle. Within this role, I was also responsible for organising and running the girls' fixture programme, which had a performance focus. The fixture programme included weekly matches for all pupils within years 3-8 and required coaching and umpiring teams in Hockey, Netball and Cricket. In addition to this, I assisted with year 2 math's and english lessons on a daily basis as well as running weekly extracurricular clubs such as Hockey, Lacrosse, Athletics and Gymnastics.
At Hailsham College I delivered PE lessons to pupils aged 11-16. This incorporated the delivery of core PE to pupils in KS3 and the BTEC Sport Level 2 qualification to pupils in KS4. My role involved delivering a significant amount of theory lessons, due to the school delivering a whole cohort BTEC Sport Level 2 qualification. Additionally, this position involved being a year 7 mentor within the school's house system where I was responsible for ensuring the academic progress and pastoral well-being of pupils through liaising with parents and House Leaders. Furthermore, I ran after-school clubs including athletics, netball and girls' football, where I organized several fixtures to enhance pupil engagement in sport.
The position required me to lead activity sessions such as; tennis, football, cooking and art, for children aged 6-11. As part of this role, we had to undertake bi-weekly excursions such as trips to London leading a group of children throughout the day. Alongside this, we oversaw the management of the boarding house as we were the primary onsite boarding staff, that ensured the health and wellbeing of all the children.
At Mayfield School, I assisted with PE and Games lessons within a variety of sports. Throughout the week I umpired and coached teams as part of the fixture programme. Alongside this, the job role required me to undertake and assist with lunchtime and after-school clubs such as swimming, Hockey and Netball. During the evenings I was boarding based, I assisted with the smooth running of the boarding house, conducting house meetings, boarders registration, assisting with the dinner, study, bedtime, wake up routines and providing a homely atmosphere with an emphasis on holistic development.
To assist the full-time boarding house staff members with running the boarder's evening activities, in particular recreational sports. I also assisted with the boarding house bedtime routine and ensuring the health and welling being of the students.

Whilst I had qualified as a teacher receiving my PGCE in 2021 and completing my two year ECT in 2023. I had taken time out of a full-time teaching role from the end of August to October 2023. I did this to immerse myself in a variety of cultures through travelling across a multitude of countries within Europe. Through undertaking these trips I have been able to experience and learn a multitude of skills along the way that I believe will benefit me in my future roles.
My primary hobbies are sport based, I am currently a part of Eastbourne Hockey Club where I attend bi-weekly training sessions and play weekly matches for the women's side. Prior to this, I played for the University of Brighton Women's 1st Lacrosse team, as well as the Mixed Lacrosse team. Recreationally, I have a keen interest in surfing and travelling.
