Summary
I have always been happy to take on challenges using the interpersonal skills I already and have and a chance to learn new skills. I like to be busy an occupied and enjoy working within a team, as well as having the ablity to work independently. I am energetic and have good organisational skills.
At school I always try to take on board feedback from my teachers regarding a piece of work or exam in order to improve for the next time. Once I have left school I have aspirations to go to 6th Form to continue my studies and hopefully earn the chance to have a scholarship to America once I am 18 as my passion is the 100m track running. I take part in competitions in my free time with the view of gaining as much experience as possible and to improve my time with each event.

Skills
- Team building I believe that my many years of playing in football teams has given me the skills I need to be a good team player I am able to listen to the views of others and take on board feedback and constructive criticism to make my work better I am also able to voice my own opinion and views in group discussion and activity
- Calm under pressure I am a keen sportsman and as well as my team player abilities that I learnt playing football, as a keen tennis player I am also very able to stay calm under pressure and find solutions to problems independently or when working away from a team setting
- Communication skills I believe that I have good communication skills and have needed to use these when showing parents round my Secondary School for Open Mornings
- Leadership I was chosen to represent the school as a Sports House Captain where I was given responsibilities in preparation for the schools sports day events I was entrusted with the task of helping select the right student for a particular event and to make sure that each activity had a representative
- Public speaking As part of my role as Sports House Captain I have had to speak in assemblies at school and help staff handing out awards This is something that I haven't always found easy but have persevered with and shown resilience
Affiliations
- I am very sporty and love playing football and tennis but my main enjoyment is the 100m track race. I regularly attend gym sessions with friends and love to stay active.
Accomplishments
Over my many years of playing football I have been fortunate to play in numerous tournaments and have been part of awards evenings where I have won a variety of different awards. This is also the case for my enjoyment of tennis and have been part of Braintree Tennis Club for a long time.
I have been given certificates in school for 'most improved student' and recognised for the hard work I have put in to lots of my subjects.
