Throughout my childhood I have frequented many car and truck shows such as Truckfest, modified nationals, 'Monster jam' in Cardiff, various motor shows at Santa Pod where we saw monster trucks, HGV's and cars, as well as many local motors motorshows
My mother is a Class 1 HGV driver and also spent a few years as a class 2 driver Over the years, I have been out in the trucks with her including a SCANIA G450, which ultimately is what has inspired me to become a HGV technician
Since I was a toddler I've always expressed an interest in cars and my first words were "car car!" My ability to memorise numbers sets me apart from most people as I have a talent for remembering performance figures of BHP and speeds vehicles can achieve I have spent many years being fascinated by the workings of a HGV and have learnt many skills with engines and cars I hope to learn more to add to my skills set with HGV's
