Manage a team of 4 staff supporting 17 Storm Aviation locations across the UK, Africa, Bangladesh, France, and Germany. Including aircraft maintenance hangars, line maintenance operations, workshops, stores, tooling, calibration and administrative offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure 24x7 connectivity at all locations.
• Provide 24x7 on-call service.
• Manage 35 virtual servers across 3 domains.
• Manage 400+ desktop/laptop computers.
• Ensure IT KPI's are met/exceeded.
• Set up of new locations, often at short notice.
• Carry out regular site visits.

Notable Projects:

• Onboarded IT services for two companies acquired by Storm Aviation in 2021, this involved transitioning services from outsourced IT company to the in-house team with minimal impact on the user base.
• Developed IT disaster recovery strategy utilising Veeam and Zerto software.
• Implemented Microsoft Dynamics (Navision) finance system.
• Implemented KPI's against ticketing system, providing real-time updates at user level.
• Migrated company desktops & laptops from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
• Migrated e-mail from on-premise Exchange to Microsoft 365.
• Moved company head quarters from Luton to Stansted Airport with minimal disruption to operations.

Software Development:

Designed and developed numerous systems, primarily using VB.NET and SQL Server, including:

• Hangar Maintenance Management.
• Line Maintenance Management.
• Aircraft Engineer Approval and Licence.
• Rostering, Manpower Planning and Flight Scheduling.
• Maintenance Document Management.

These systems were originally implemented between 2012 and 2016, and have been continuously developed and supported since implementation.

• Developed software (VB.NET) to analyse output from high speed non-destructive testing devices.

• Developed tool control system (VB.NET/SQL Server) for SR Technics.

• Led the application support and development team.

• Led team responsible for the support and development of the aircraft maintenance management system,
