A motivated and customer-focused individual with hands-on experience in both retail and hospitality environments. Having worked on a busy service station shop floor, I am comfortable managing stock, maintaining store presentation and handling transactions accurately during high-traffic periods. In hospitality settings, I have developed the ability to read the room, adapt my approach to different customers and ensure every person feels welcomed and well looked after from the moment they walk in.

I take pride in delivering a consistently high standard of service whether I am recommending a product to a customer, resolving a complaint or working through a busy lunch rush as part of a team. I am confident upselling and promoting deals where relevant, and I understand how small interactions can make a big difference to whether a customer comes back or not.

Outside of serving customers, I am organised and proactive on the shop or venue floor — keeping shelves stocked, ensuring cleanliness standards are met and flagging anything that needs attention without being asked. I work well under pressure, pick up new systems quickly and always bring a positive attitude to the team regardless of how busy it gets.

I am now looking for a role where I can continue building on my customer service experience, contribute to a hardworking team and grow within a company that values good people and great service.

I am a passionate volunteer with 4 years of experience, from volunteering at school affairs to local park events. I am committed to bringing my skills in effective communication, time management, empathy and compassion to help the community and give back. Volunteering also gave me the opportunity to make friends and learn important skills while giving me valuable experience in working in a fast paced and competitive environment. Despite the competitiveness, voluntary work also taught me other skills like working with a team effectively and also further developing my leadership skills.

Completed an intensive month-long public speaking course, developing a strong foundation in professional communication. Through structured presentations and guided practice, I significantly improved my ability to articulate ideas clearly, manage performance anxiety, and deliver speeches with confidence before an audience. This experience instilled a discipline for clear, composed communication that I continue to draw on in both academic and professional settings.
