Education

Bachelor of Arts - Politics & Economics

University of Leicester
Leicester
09.2020 - 06.2023

Skills

  • Teamwork – I grew up playing Football, Gaelic Football and Rugby
  • Leadership – Through my supervisory and coaching experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Managing time and planning - planning sessions lasting a day or an hour
  • Able to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively for maximum efficiency
  • Maximising marginal returns from data - I have learned about the significance of data through Football, and more specifically the football manager game, and am now much less intimidated by pages of data when trying to interpret it

Hobbies

I have played Football and Gaelic Football since I was a child, captaining various school, and club teams, whilst playing for college and university teams too. This experience taught me how to lead and be part of a team. These skills translated well to my work life, helping me work with people with different background and build relationships that helped with problem solving and kept energy high.

I switched from football to rugby at 16 having never played before. This opportunity allowed me to persevere in unfamiliar surroundings, and developed my skills of discipline and adapting to new challenges
