As a Bowel Cancer Screening Programme administrator I am preparing many Audits and deliver an outcome to evaluate any errors and shortcomings to develop best BCSP practise. As a part of the team I am responsible for chasing outstanding histology and CTC reports, I am first point of contact with Regional Hub with the recording of results and arrangement of nurse-led community clinic appointment. Arranging colonoscopy appointments at the identified screening centres, arranging and booking bowel scope lists across Trusts as per service guides and standards and diagnostic pathway of patient referred under a 2 week rule process, ensuring that all cancer data/information is stored and transmitted in a format, which adheres to all aspects of the Caldicott guidelines. Maintaining service waiting lists and local databases as a part of the team. Assisting the BCSP Team in the development of robust information system that is supporting current and future needs of the programme.
