I was made redundant from Santander UK after 24 years of service in March of this year and now in a position to begin a new challenge. I have previously been in other employments including Maintenance engineer at Vauxhall Motors, Estate Agency, Garage equipment installations which has given me a broad range of skills and experience.
This position really interests me as I have a passion for the outdoor life which includes Hiking, Camping, Mountain biking and travelling the UK and Europe. I believe with my work ethic, attention to detail, appreciation of the crucial importance of customer service, being able to work in a team orientated environment and having a real connection with the customer base with similar interests, I would be an asset to the company.
I have had several roles at Santander, with the latest being an IT analyst supporting the company's fault reporting application called ServiceNow. Previous roles were in IT Operations, Incident, Problem, and Change Management. This experience has given me relevant skills of tight deadlines, attention to detail, and providing good customer service.
