Proficient in utilising software and the internet to enhance productivity. Committed to leveraging skills for career advancement in a dynamic environment.
I can take on new challenges, and work under pressure and stay calm while doing it. An example for this, would be when i took on a last minute role when around public and needing to quickly sweep and clean the area in the space of 10 minutes. I have good communication skills, and if something if wrong or needed i would ask someone around me or one of the employers for a second opinion or help. I am also very hard - working, and i will try my best with everything i do. An example for this, would be when i recieved my GCSE Mathematics result on results day and seen i hadnt passed, during my first year at College i worked extremely hard every day and achieved the result i needed.
The skills and techniques which i had used while working at severn valley rescue, would be that it had allowed me to improve upon my attention to detail, and working on my mistakes which i had made and making sure to correct them and improve on them each time i had done this. I was also able to carry the jobs out for day - day efficiently and safely, and some could be concluded of mucking out the animal enclosures, setting up for open events, feeding and watering the animals, handling safely etc. It had also allowed my confidence to grow when in larger crowds, and speaking up more and helping others and members of public. These skills were quickly picked up and learned. My respect for others was also very important, as i was working with multiple people and understanding what they could do to help us and others and how that was very benefitial.
The job responsibilities i had taken on for this, would be that i had learned what is not done correctly and what i can improve upon for this, and what is needed to enhance my skills. These could be concluded of, being tidy, organised, staying calm and collected etc. However, this is only a job that i do every once out of two weeks, and im currently at Halesowen College studying a level 3 Animal Managment course, and im predicted the grade of a DMM. This course will hopefully allow me to go forward after college with University, working on a farm, becoming a Veterinary Nurse etc. On the other hand, this job has allowed me to build closer relationships with the woman i clean for, and learning the importance of helping others when they need it. This experience was a very positive experience for me personally, and i still see myself doing it for a few more years as a part time job.
