  • Worked with a large variety of animals including: livestock, small mammals, horses, birds of prey, reptiles and other exotic species.
  • Trusted with the responsibility of tracking animals treatments and preventative care, and researching alternatives.

  • Administered medications through injections, oral, nasal, and topical routes.

  • I managed oversight of all animal diets, implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Worked, both within a team and individually, to create enrichment for animals that stimulated natural behaviours and reduced stress levels.

I spent 2 weeks in Thailand volunteering at an animal sanctuary, working with elephants and various other exotic animals. My roles here mostly included tending to the the basic needs of the animals, like cleaning feeding and providing enrichment.
