  • In my current role as a product specialist, my responsibilities vary from project delivery, customer facing on-site, customer Teams Meetings, design and build LIMS (Laboratory Information System) systems, connect analyser in the laboratory to a proprietary Clinisys database and to Winpath Enterprise
  • Project delivery in timely manner and other duties including:
  • Comply with the Company’s codes of conduct and guidelines.
  • To understand, comply and develop and consult with customers and to advise.
  • Understand customers’ workflow, advise, and assist with products and configuration to facilitate these needs.
  • To be fully conversant with the functionality of the Pathology product(s) of your discipline.
  • To be conversant with the core functionality of Pathology products.
  • Assist Project Manager with the implementation; that will include time management, resource planning and working with Trust or Customer IT representatives.
  • Contribute to the development of the Software product.
  • Deliver relevant courses for key users of pathology, as required.
  • To attend team meetings and agreed training courses.
  • Contribute to and support Pathology team members and build knowledge base.

  • In this role, I worked as a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialised in Biochemistry, where I undertake various roles and responsibilities including the day to day running of the Biochemistry department such as processing urgent samples from AE and critical wards

  • The laboratory appreciated my experience working with different LIMS from different laboratories across the country

  • Remisol Middleware I was able to send results from middleware to Winpath
  • Competent using Winpath for booking samples, validation and authorisation.
  • Processing A&E, inpatient, and outpatient samples
  • Telephoning critical results to doctors, general practitioners, nurses and other medical professionals.
