1) I was presently a full-time General Surgery resident trainee as a part of the Egyptian fellowship program of plastic surgery.
My responsibilities include attending outpatient clinics and perform simple procedure under LA as abscesses drainage.
Managing acutely ill surgical patients and formulate a management plan.
2)Attending consultant-led ward rounds, completing tasks assigned during ward rounds on time.
3) Assissting trauma surgeries as my hospital was a major trauma center in Sinai.
This was an internship placement Equivalent to the FY1 program in the UK.
It includes rotating on different specialties to complete my log book in order to get my full medical registration.
I rotated on Internal medicine, general surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, anesthetic medicine, and emergency medicine for two months in each rotation.
