Summary

I am a caring and enthusiastic individual with two years experience working as a Care Assistant in a care home. I have built strong relationships with residents and their families and developed a good understanding of the importance of person-centred care. Through my role, I have encouraged residents to participate in games and activities as well as supported them to remain engaged and maintain their independence and wellbeing. Through my four years as a Girlguiding Leader, I have gained experience planning and leading a variety of activities and creating a fun, inclusive environment that encourages participation. My studies in Children's Nursing and experience supporting individuals with additional support needs have strengthened my communication and organisational skills and taught me how to adapt my approach to meet different needs. I am passionate about improving people's wellbeing and enhancing quality of life through meaningful activities and would welcome the opportunity to use my creativity and enthusiasm to provide enjoyable and engaging experiences as an Activities Coordinator.
