  • Established the charity, RugbySafety.org, to support youth players in schools and clubs. It aims to raise awareness of concussion (signposting and consequences) so that younger players are less vulnerable to sustaining life-changing injuries.
  • In March 2020, I suffered three concussive impacts in the same game, curtailing my enthusiastic rugby career and leaving me with Post-Concussion Syndrome. Fortunate to be alive, I undertook to reform the game to prevent similar future incidents.
  • Quickly learned new interpersonal skills and applied them to daily operations (contacting partner organizations and soliciting support or association).
  • Carried out administrative duties accurately and efficiently.
  • Worked flexible hours; night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Developed research skills through investigating case studies, protocols, medical issues.
  • Coordinated fundraising to facilitate its launch
  • Designed and commissioned its website; created all branding.
