Working with Deliveroo gave me strong experience in fast-paced, customer-facing delivery work. I managed multiple orders at once, planned efficient routes, and made sure food arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I communicated with customers and restaurants throughout each shift, solved issues on the spot, and kept a positive attitude even during busy peak times. The role improved my time management, reliability, and problem-solving skills, and taught me how to stay organised and professional while working independently.

This is a family-owned business where I help my parents. I handle various day-to-day responsibilities such as finding tenants and checking up on properties. I am also in charge of viewings, promoting, and showing all properties to those in the market.

Working at Flannels gave me hands-on experience in luxury retail, where I looked after customers from the moment they walked in until the second they left the store. I helped people put outfits together, talked them through different brands and fits, and made sure they always felt looked after. I handled busy periods, high-value transactions, stock checks, and kept the shop floor looking sharp. I built genuine relationships with customers and supported the team with merchandising, returns, and day-to-day store tasks. The job helped me develop strong communication, sales confidence, and a solid understanding of how a high-end retail environment runs.

I began this job at the beginning of my summer holidays. It allowed me to experience a busy working environment and gain confidence balancing multiple responsibilities. I showed my work ethic by taking on long shifts, staying motivated, being friendly and courteous, and maximising positive customer satisfaction ratings.
