• Working on 20 hours contract with Gabriel's Angels Care Company doing Domiciliary care, palliative care,end of life care. Doing morning,afternoon and evening calls to clients of different age groups with different types of challenging conditions such as degenerative diseases of the brain and nervous system (dementia, Parkinson's disease) and motor neurone diseases, which require close monitoring and management ensuring that their physical, psychological, emotional and social needs are met and quality care is rendered
• Helping clients to live their life as independently as they can in the comfort of their homes.
• Performing activities of daily living such as eating, showering, toileting and dressing
• Utilizing equipment to move patients when necessary.
• Helping tidy the client's home or room.
• Administration of medications.
• Monitoring of vital observations, recording and reporting of abnormalities.
• Tracheostomy and PEG care
• Infection prevention and control
• Family and patient support and reassurance.
• Keeping patients records up to date.
• Adhering to professional guidelines.
• Delivering reports to on call managers and reviewing any important changes in the patient's condition.

This is the company I am working full time for on a skilled worker visa and it focuses on the same core roles as Gabriel's Angels Care Company. Only did Domiciliary morning calls on one Dementia client and these are as follows;

• 6 years general nursing work experience in Medical Wards and Adult ICU, providing daily care to approximately 20-25 patients (physically, psychologically, emotionally) to patients with different types of central nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, renal, integumentary and haematological system conditions
• Admitting new patients and developing care plans for their management throughout hospitalization.
• Monitoring vital observations and reporting any deviations from normal to the Nurse Manager in charge and intervening appropriately as per doctor's orders.
• Helping with personal care.
• Intravenous fluid and blood transfusion monitoring, assessment and recording.
• Oxygen administration and monitoring.
