Day to day operations
- Planning daily tasks and delegating.
- Organising day, week, month. Clear plan for all to understand.
- Communication - huddle/ team meetings/ information sharing and gathering.
- Cost controls - wages/ waste/ shrink/ consumables all in line with budgets.
- Compliance / trading standards/ product withdrawals all done in timely manner.
- KPI's targets reviews and strived to always improve.
- Sales result driven - constantly looking for ways to increase through trends, experience, out of box thinking.
- Stock and inventory controls and audits, counts, shrink, PI integrity adhered to.
- On shelf availability, always there for the customer.
- Merchandising standards, modular integrity and presentational standards.
- Fire safety, checks and drill as required.
- Risk assessments - annually refreshed and pregnancy when required.
- Leadership team rota planning. Leadership holiday requests, absence and Sunday working authorised, tracked and reported to GSM.
- Department rota planning completed and revised for 28 colleagues.
- Customer focus and customer service always reviewed.
- Implement new practises and ideas.
- Analyse reports and data for forward improve.

- Recruitment for own teams as well as store teams.
- Running stores 'Best Welcomes' programmes.
- Coaching and developing colleague to further their careers.
- Training/ multiskilled training.
- Conducting Investigations and disciplinaries hearing.
