Summary
Currently, as a full-time PhD researcher at Cranfield University SoM, my research is focused on ESG and corporate finance. I am passionate about finding an ESG-related position that would allow me to further engage in ESG research and integrate my professional knowledge about ESG into my daily work tasks. I believe that my experience as a wealth manager has equipped me with a strong foundation in finance consulting.
I have a strong background in the financial services industry, having worked as a wealth manager in a security firm and a relationship manager in business banking before pursuing my PhD. In my previous roles, I offered a combination of services that included providing investment advice, conducting research and analysis, and developing personalized investment strategies for my clients. I also acted as a broker to buy and sell stocks on behalf of my clients, utilizing my expertise in macroeconomics, investment markets, and personal finance to effectively manage their finances.
I have also passed CFA Level 1 and subjects of CPA, and possess advanced Excel skills. I have intermediate skills in Python, which would allow me to effectively analyze and interpret large data.
Overall, I am eager to apply my skills and experience to an ESG-related job and make a meaningful contribution to the field. I am a dedicated researcher with a passion for sustainability, and I am excited about the opportunity to work in a role that allows me to further develop my expertise in ESG.

- Finished the draft of the first chapter: Building ESG Metrics using Machine-Assisted Analysis and Identifying the Source of ESG measurement divergence using PCA: Improving the Accuracy and Reliability of ESG Methods
- Designed a novel approach, Machine-assisted content analysis (MACA), which integrates a manual and unsupervised machine learning-clustering-assisted taxonomy to analyse ESG scope based on ESG guidelines of WEF
- Introduced ESG metrics with 52 common ESG features that lead to low scope divergence, reflected by the average standard deviation of ESG indicators at 0.95
- Discovered previously unknown trends and patterns by further decomposing ESG ratings. i.e., utilised unsupervised machine learning-principal component analysis (PCA) to identify 18 ESG features that explain the most variance of ESG performance, collaborating 72% to total Measurement divergence
- A strategy to improve ESG measurement is focusing on measuring those key indicators.
