- Provided various innovative solutions to overcome challenges on Overhead Lines.
- Shared, designed and presented various projects of my own vision for post 2030 agendas, see attached interactive documents and maps from LinkTree.
- Attended various presentations with External Stakeholders.
- Suggested and recommended over-engineering the new proposed Overhead Lines part of The Great Grid Upgrade, to futureproof and minimalise the need for new additional lines Post 2030.
- Presented some new Innovative solutions regarding SF6 and SuperGrid Transformer Heat Recovery.
- Suggested the introduction of Overhead HVDC lines to preserve Agricultural Fertility, Natural Impact, Ecosystem Loss and significantly reduce costs.
- Conceptualizing a future 500,000 volt transmission network and changing legislation to allow the new voltage level.
- Visiting National Grid Electricity Distribution (East Midlands Division) and learning about their role within National Grid.
- Visited the Hinkley Point C Connection Project for 3 days, incorporating Balfour Beatty, Morrison Energy Services and J. Murphy & Sons Ltd.
- Visited the Deeside Centre for Innovation and discussed the pros and cons for various projects, including RICA.
