In my career I have always pushed myself to achieve better and pursue progress, I am ready to apply this drive in a more challenging and rewarding role. I am practically minded, with a methodical approach to working and an eagerness to learn and develop personal skills. My eventual career goal is to become a fully qualified and experienced engineer, with the long-term aspiration of moving into a leadership role.
As a Team Leader at the Fish Inn, I am responsible for supervising daily operations, coordinating staff, and ensuring a high standard of customer service. I lead and motivate a successful team in a fast-paced environment, manage shift schedules, and handled customer queries and complaints efficiently. I work closely with management to implement health and safety protocols, maintain stock levels, and support the training & development of new team members. This role has strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, while also reinforcing my ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
In the role of a Supervisor, I frequently took on the responsibility of managing the licensed public house, which required me to become proficient in nearly all aspect of its operation.

I worked as a Sandwich Artist at the Ringwood Travelodge Subway alongside my time at Brockenhurst College. I regularly had work independently which allowed me to develop my skill set to comfortable overcoming challenging situations by myself. This job required me learn and adapted multiple different skills involving customer serves and general running of a store.
I dedicated one day a week for an academic year to working in MSA Foams which is a local engineering business in Wimborne. During my time a MSA I spent time working in each of the manufacturing departments, from design to finishing/quality control learning how an engineering business operates.
A residential challenge week on H.M.S Bristol involving learning how to participate the field gun competition. This week consist of extremely challenging physical and teamwork training in preparation for the competition on the final day. The competition heads UTC’s (University Technical Colleges) form across the country and other naval teams against one another to win the timed challenges to decide the best team in the UK.
The NCS is a voluntary personal and social development program that takes place over four weeks. During my time doing NSC, me and group of my peers teamed up to do a fundraiser for the dementia ward at Bournemouth Hospital, raising over £450 for them.
I have volunteered for a community outreach project on multiple occasions in areas of Dorset. This was a local project designed to improve the lives of children in the area by engaging them with arts and crafts activities.
A work experience week at QinetiQ Boscombe Down, learning about vehicles and weapons maintain contracted by the MOD. During this week I moved around multiply departments of Boscombe Down leaning about the work QinetiQ dose to keep the British armed forces running on the daily.
