Mathematics Classroom Support Volunteer
Year 12 (2 hours per week)

• Assisted Year 11 students during maths lessons, providing support with classwork, problem-solving and clearing misconceptions.
• Helped students build confidence and improve exam technique in the run-up to GCSEs.
• Allowed me to explain concepts in different ways to cater for visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners.

Student Mentor
Year 12 (1 hour per week)

• Mentored a Year 7 student on a weekly basis throughout the academic year.
• Contributed to the student's improvement in their end-of-year exam results.
• Walk-through maths questions, and be able to mathematically articulate for their needs.

During GCSE Summer:

• Ensured smooth operation of the front desk by managing walk-ins and welcoming guests.
• Supported prompt table clearing and helped maintain a clean and well-stocked buffet area.
• Worked collaboratively with staff to ensure customer needs were met promptly and professionally.
• Empathetically responded to customer complaints and offered viable solutions.
