During my 6 months of volunteering for the Leamington Spa Nursing Home, I've learnt many skills and gained lots of valuable work experience for the future
Due to various tailored experiences, I've developed a more compassionate viewpoint, conversing with the elderly and taking a keen interest into their past, lives and their children
I've become more confident as I've led many of my own activities such as quizzes, dominos, card games and more
Through many cycles of feedback, I strengthened a more personal relationship with each elderly member of the care home
