Summary

During the last 15 years l have worked predominantly, within schools as a school counsellor, l've maintained and managed my own diary, been responsible for referrals, dealt with child protection and safeguarding issues, worked in Primary and Secondary schools with both young people and their families, attend supervision once a month, as well as working in a team environment when needed.

I'm a very experienced young person counsellor, l have good interpersonal and communicational skills, coupled with a patient, calming and positive temperment. I have developed a strength in understanding and empathizing with young people of all ages, while maintaining an objective and realistic theraputic approach. I have a wealth of knowledge, regards helping young people over-come personal challenges, cope with and manage triggering situations, while presenting a non judgemental, genuine, honest and empathetic persona.

My aim is always to help, guide, empower and support young people as they navigate lifes challenges, encouraging them to realise their true potential through the process of counselling.
