This was a week of work experience that was taken during my October half-term that primarily covered the haematology ward and further a full day shadowing a clinical pharmacist and the hospital's pharmacy, during this week I:

• Taking patient history on the haematology and oncology ward.
• Shadowing junior doctors in the chemotherapy unit.
• Covering ward rounds with a clinical pharmacist, checking medicine charts and speaking to patients
• Shadowing an experience in the hospital's aseptic unit, which covered making chemotherapy.

• Kept server areas clean and stocked to increase efficiency while working tables.
• Maintained customer satisfaction with timely table check-ins to assess food and beverage needs.
• Met with chef to review daily specials and menu changes.

I took part in an observership program for one week under the supervision of a bariatric surgeon at medicare hospital Jumeirah Dubai.

During this week I attended the clinic with multiple team members, such as the bariatric surgeon, the anesthesiologist and the nursing team.

furthermore, I shadowed the surgeons work during a gastric bypass surgery for one day during this week.
