I started to work as chef because of the love of cooking in the comfort of my home, i decided to get a job as a chef but started from day one washing dishes i stuck at this role until i slowly moved my way up into working with all the chefs. I eventually got my role doing starters learning step by step and giving it my all to eventually working on doing the pizzas and learning how to prepare more dishes. Once i learnt to do everything in the kitchen i got the role of controlling the pass which means i was in control of what dishes go out to front of house and what tables to go to. This was a big role for me especially at busy times where the restaurant was hectic, however i kept it all under controlled and kept things running smoothly. Then i was giving the role of doing front of house, this was a big step as i did not have the confidence to talk to strangers and was worried of having this role, but my amazing team pushed me to give it my best and understand the role and improve on my skills which pushed me to get better in all aspects of skills which i am willingly to put them into a new field of work where can i learn more.
