  • I have been working at McDonalds part time since November, and started of as a crew member, they quickly saw my progress and within the first two months they decided to promote me to a crew trainer.

  • Since then I have taken the managers training course in McDonald’s in preparation for a future manager position should they need.
  • In this course I learned how to run a shift and organize my staff to run a smooth and efficient shift.
  • I have ran multiple shifts and they have been successful, there are still things for me to learn such as Safe Count.

  • By being given these responsibilities I have learnt to improve my decision making and have been taught the correct discipline while providing an excellent customer service.

  • I worked as only a Christmas temp, but I have gained a lot of experience from working at the card factory and am grateful for having been given this opportunity working during the busiest time of the year.
  • Whilst I was there, I restocked all the shelves, I did money handling in the form of operating the tills, taking coins in and transferring money to the safe twice a week.
  • I also helped clean the shop and the storage rooms upstairs every working day.

  • Whilst at NCS we had a project that we had to complete, our project was that we had to raise money for the charity Scan Appeal.
  • Scan appeal is a charity that helps stoke Mandeville, high Wycombe hospitals get better MRI equipment.
  • We had multiple methods of raising money such as a market stall in the Centre of Aylesbury, quiz night at a pub in high Wycombe, and we helped with a sale at a garden Centre.
  • In total we managed to raise around £1800 for scan appeal.
