- I have worked with ABUHB in YYF for over 5 years, initially as a JCF then as SCF since August 2023, during which I have gained confidence and experience as a middle grade doctor, supporting other doctors and colleagues while working under supervision of my consultants knowing my limitations and seeking senior help whenever needed.
- I am well aware of ABUHB policies and electronic systems, their different sites and step up / step down process via flow centre, I understand the significant role of CRT in reducing unnecessary hospital admissions and for continuity of care after discharge from hospital by facilitating tests and managing patients in the community.

Working as a senior clinical fellow in care of the elderly and stroke medicine, internally rotated in YYF between CoTE, stroke rehab and palliative care wards, leading ward rounds independently and under supervision of consultants, assisting other resident doctors and addressing their concerns, assessing patients while maintaining good relationships and communication with patients and families including end of life discussions, assessing elderly and frail patients including Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment and Mental Capacity Assessment, looking after patients on stroke pathway addressing any medical issues and facilitating discharge planning, being involved in advanced care planning, maintaining good documentation and record keeping both in patients' medical notes and electronically via e-referrals and discharge summaries. I have been working in a multidisciplinary team, taking part of the weekly CoTE MDT meetings & stroke MDT meetings, and attending stroke / TIA clinics in YYF. I host regular medical students teaching sessions during their placement in YYF. I also provide informal teaching to medical students on the ward in topics related to current patients and provide them with formal feedback forms and have received good feedbacks regarding the teaching I provided. I had online training by Cardiff University on providing teaching sessions to medical students and providing student feedback. I was previously conducting bedside teaching sessions to 4th and 5th year medical students back in Benghazi, Libya as I was a demonstrator in medicine department in University of Benghazi
- I have been appointed as one of two resident doctors representatives in YYF hospital since July 2024 to address any issues or concerns raised by resident doctors, hosting routine resident doctors forums and feeding back to directorate meetings, also presenting in resident doctors' induction sessions in YYF.
- I have gained experience in leadership while working as a medical registrar, managing the medical intake, supporting other resident doctors and allocating roles between them. Leading the cardiac arrest team in YYF during on calls and on the ward.
I have been playing my role as a medical registrar in a multidisciplinary team, I support other resident doctors and I have always been easily approachable by other staff members including nurses and therapists, take their concerns into consideration and take action when necessary in the best interest for patients, seeking senior help when needed.
