Simulation, Project Manager

I undertook a simulation at university where we, as a team had to run a global enterprise. The simulation was so realistic that all decisions had a direct impact on the business, which also made it very complex. I enjoy such challenges; however, as it was so complicated, the rest of my team had trouble understanding it, had no idea what to do or where to start. As the project manager, I put the hours in to understanding all the aspects of the simulation, I then delegated tasks to the individuals within my team based on their strengths and explained their part/role. They then started to understand and see the full picture with everybody's work coming together. We did so well within this simulation that we came first in the class, far ahead of second place, so well that we came in 34th in the world and were invited to compete in a worldwide tournament.
